The Site
A Lot that Rises Straight Out of the Lake
The defining challenge of this project was the terrain. The lot falls steeply to the water's edge, and building on it demanded exacting attention to detail and extensive structural coordination.
Every decision, from foundation to framing, was made to work with the slope rather than against it. The result is a home that is firmly anchored to its site and fully open to the view.

The Design
